We can't say enough about how well we were treated by Scott the staff at Steve Johnson Automotive. My wife was in town on Vacation when her car broke down leaving her stranded. Scott and the staff there were very understanding and immediately went to work diagnosing the problem. Although they were not able to make the repair they went out of their way to make arrangements with a local dealership to have the car repaired. They were so easy to work with and kept us informed at every step of this issue. It's never a good experience when your broke down while away from home. This team helped take the stress out of a very stressful situation. I highly recommend this company.

I have a twenty year old SUV that I have kept for sentimental reasons. Steve Johnson Automotive has kept it maintained and repaired most of those years. Their tire recommendations have been perfect. Fast service , very reasonable prices. Scott could probably author a text book on customer service.

As a visitor to Amelia Island I was faced with the need for an emergency repair at the end of a cold rainy day. At the recommendation of a trusted local I made my way to SJA to see what, if anything, could be done at this late hour. Their team provided me immediate service despite having multiple jobs they were finishing up. They provided a careful and thorough diagnosis, sent out for the necessary part that arrived in about a half-hour and made the repair and tested the car patiently and thoroughly before releasing it to me for my return to St. Augustine that evening. I a happy to report that the car is performing flawlessly since the repair. The charge was extremely reasonable. Mr. Scott Duncan, with whom I dealt directly, was the consummate professional.

Fair and honest. He diagnosed my car and took care of me in a timely manner. Will definitely bring my car here again if needed.

This guy is literally the worst POS ever and can’t even do his job. I took in my car to change a battery changed which he didn’t even touch and he said that it was fine, I literally had to jump start my car the day before. M he just lies just to say he did something when in reality he is just lazy. I try to make an appointment however he rudely hung up on me because the day that I wanted he didn’t have and then when I try to make it for another day he hung up on me again. Extremely rude extremely obnoxious he needs to retire and work as a bagging man at Publix or something
